Your SPECTRE Player doesn’t need an internet connection to play music — everything is stored on the Player for maximum reliability.
However, an internet connection greatly enhances your Player's performance and overall music experience. It enables:
Real-time control of your music from the Dashboard (e.g. change playlist, play audio messages...).
Automatic music updates, ensuring you always have fresh content.
Seamless software updates to keep your Player secure and up-to-date with the latest features.
To ensure your Players stay online at all times, we strongly recommend enabling offline player notifications in the Dashboard.
Here’s how:
Go to the Dashboard: https://dashboard.spectre-music.com
Navigate to My Account (bottom left corner) and select Notification settings.
Choose your notification preferences, set the duration a Player can stay offline before you're notified, and click Save before leaving the page.
