👉The Spectre Player app makes it possible to use your mobile device as an audio source. If you plan to use your mobile device as a remote control, check the Dashboard documentation instead.
Step 1 - Use a supported iOS or Android device
The Spectre Player mobile app requires a modern iOS or Android device, with an up-to-date operating system. Please check the list of supported devices to make sure your device is supported.
Step 2 - Connect to WiFi
Once authenticated, your Spectre Player app will need to download your music, which can take up several GB on your device. Make sure you have WiFi enabled to avoid unexpected data charges.
Step 3 - Download the app

Step 4 - Open the app & authenticate it
On first launch, your Spectre Player app needs to be authenticated.
Once opened, the app shows a six-digit number (e.g. "3 9 6 7 9 3"). This number needs to be sent to Spectre in order to match it with your Spectre subscription.
To send the number, you can either:

if you have a Dashboard account, connect to the Dashboard, open the Devices tab, and tap "Pair new device".
Step 5 - Keep the app open while download completes
Once authenticated, your Spectre Player app automatically downloads your music. Keep the app on-screen while the download is in progress.
Step 6 - You're done!
Once the download is complete, your app starts playing automatically.
